“The University of Minnesota Foundation approached Advancement Resources to discuss the creation of a custom training program for our academic leaders and faculty, all of whom are important partners in building philanthropic relationships. Under their leadership, we created a four-part course, delivered over two years, and enrolled approximately 200 of our faculty, deans, chancellors, and other leaders. The participants are highly engaged and have benefited from learning more about their own role in the philanthropic process and how to partner with their respective development liaisons. We have been very pleased.”

“We selected Advancement Resources to partner with us in designing a bespoke learning programme for our fundraisers in University Development and across the 31 Colleges at Cambridge. It was clear from our first interactions with [Advancement Resources] that they would be able to meet our very specific needs, as the sole organisation experienced in delivering research-based, fundraising learning sessions, built upon adult learning models. Developing the programme with [them] has been a true partnership; [they have] shown flexibility beyond expectation and his ability to listen to and interpret our needs has made the process a pleasure. It has been consultative and efficient, resulting in a rich and reflective experience for our fundraising colleagues. Since the start of the programme in 2020, we have trained over 60 colleagues, with a third cohort launching this spring, working towards embedding a common language and practice across the fundraising community.”
