This highly interactive virtual workshop prepares medical development professionals to optimize engagement of physicians and other health professionals as development partners. Participants will join an interactive web platform where they can explore high-level, strategic concepts for building a robust grateful patient program in a real-time, facilitator-led, virtual classroom. Discover concepts, processes, and skills for building strong working relationships with health professionals through group discussions, pre-work application assignments, video case studies, and industry-leading research.

Date and Time

The two sessions of the virtual workshop will be held from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. ET on the following dates:

Monday, July 20, 2020
Tuesday, July 21, 2020

Virtual workshops are held live. Participants should plan to attend the full day. Workshop recordings and/or make-up sessions are not available.

Classroom Engagement

Participants will attend two 4-hour sessions in a real-time virtual classroom. This experience features networking opportunities, application exercises, and interactive facilitator support. To enhance the virtual experience, all workshop materials will be provided in a digital format and can be printed for individual usage, if desired.

Sessions are scheduled for each individual workshop offering, with both sessions taking place over a one week period. Participants in each cohort should be prepared to attend all sessions, as this is not a webinar, and interactivity is essential to the success of the experience.

Pre- and Post-Work Assignments

Prior to the workshop, participants will be asked to complete a pre-work assignment.

Technical Requirements

Participants are required to download the Adobe® Connect™ application in order to participate in the workshop. Participants should be prepared to use an individual computer, speakers, a microphone, and a strong internet connection.

A detailed welcome guide will be sent to all participants prior to the first session.

Individual Coaching

Individual coaching engagements are designed to address the unique needs of each participant. All Advancement Resources coaches have completed comprehensive training and approach each engagement utilizing decades of professional experience in applying donor-centric principles as a practitioner.
