A global leader in professional development education, Advancement Resources has designed this innovative workshop series to maximize the time you spend inside and outside the workshop’s virtual classroom and the impact on your career. During the live working sessions, you will collaborate with your development peers as you apply the concepts to donors in your portfolio. Between sessions, you will gain valuable support from one of our certified coaches as you overcome real-life challenges in practicing a donor-centric approach to major gifts fundraising.

Dates and Times

This 12-week engagement includes:

Pre-work
Five (5) coaching sessions on mutually agreeable dates
Nine (9) virtual sessions that will be held from 12:00 – 3:30 p.m. CT on the following dates:

Virtual Session #2: February 2, 2022

Virtual Session #3: February 9, 2022

Virtual Session #4: February 23, 2022

Virtual Session #5: March 2, 2022

Virtual Session #6: March 16, 2022

Virtual Session #7: March 23, 2022

Virtual Session #8: April 6, 2022

Virtual Session #9: April 13, 2022

Virtual workshops are held live. Participants should attend all sessions for the full workshop experience. Workshop recordings and/or make-up sessions are not available.

Classroom Engagements

Participants will attend nine 3.5-hour sessions in a real-time virtual classroom. This experience features networking opportunities, application exercises, and interactive facilitator support. To enhance the virtual workshop experience, all materials will be provided in a digital format and can be printed for individual usage, if desired. Participants in each cohort should be prepared to attend all sessions, as this is not a webinar, and interactivity is essential to the success of the experience.

One-on-One Coaching Calls

Each participant will experience five one-on-one coaching video calls with an Advancement Resources coach. All Advancement Resources coaches are experienced development professionals with a passion for helping other professionals grow in their professions, address unique situations, and refine skills.

Through confidential open dialog, Advancement Resources coaches can enable improved performance by suggesting strategies and techniques to manage or eliminate real and perceived barriers to success.

myAR Plus

As part of a blended learning experience, workshop participants also receive access to myAR Plus, an Advancement Resources premium online platform. myAR Plus provides a full library of tools, e-Learning modules, and other resources to optimize the learning experience for workshop participants..
