With 30 years of fundraising, alumni relations, and foundation experience, Scott Cooksey is a proven leader in advancement. He has served as a front-line fundraiser, a senior leader, and as CEO and COO of university foundations where he forged strong relationships with donors and university presidents/chancellors.

Scott’s responsibilities at Advancement Resources include one on one coaching to help development professionals define their goals and support them as they create a plan to achieve those goals. Using his experience in advancement, Scott has guided advancement programs into implementing standards and metrics, enhancing advancement support and services, and successfully completing billion-dollar campaigns.
