Megan K. Riebe, CFRE

Vice President, Coaching Services

Megan is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and philanthropy champion who is passionate about encouraging individuals and organizations to dream big and contribute their strengths and assets to advancing important causes. Her career spans over 30 years in higher education and the nonprofit sector as a fundraiser and servant leader.

Before joining Advancement Resources as Vice President of Coaching Services, Megan served in leadership positions at the University of Alaska Foundation, Gonzaga University, and Washington State University, her alma mater (Go Cougs!). She began her career assisting nonprofit organizations in fund development as both a consultant and staff fundraiser. Megan served as a Strategic Partner and Coach here at Advancement Resources from 2019 – 2023.

Megan experience spans nonprofit and foundation operations and leadership, campaign planning and execution, principal and major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, donor relations, and annual giving. She leads organizational change by building high-performing teams, making data-informed decisions, and focusing on continual improvement to deepen presence, impact, and value.

In addition to her CFRE, Megan holds a Coaching for Life and Work certificate from the University of California, Davis and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. She is also a certified facilitator of The Philanthropic Quest™ Strategic Retreat through the Center for Leadership Philanthropy.
