Charlisa Garg, CFRE

Charli currently serves as the Director of Foundation Relations at NYU Langone Health, a premier academic medical center located in the heart of New York City, where she and her team raise nearly $50M of foundation support annually. She previously led the corporate and foundation relations teams at Teachers College, Columbia University, and the West Point Association of Graduates at the U.S. Military Academy (Go Army!). Before entering the world of higher education fundraising, she ran a successful consulting firm serving the fundraising and donor development needs of a range of national, regional, and local nonprofits.

In addition to her CFRE credential, Charli holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management through the IUPUI Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and is a certified Executive Coach through NYU. Her coaching practice centers on fundraising and nonprofit professionals, and she is passionate about supporting emerging leaders as they navigate challenges, develop themselves professionally, and cultivate strong, donor-centric relationships in service of their organizational missions.
