Megan provides one-on-one coaching to individuals who are looking to extend their professional development beyond the classroom learning experience. Through a heavily personalized approach, Megan works with development professionals to explore, define, and resolve challenges and to optimize opportunities.
Megan has been serving the nonprofit and higher education sectors as a fundraising leader for over 27 years. For the past eight years, she has served as Associate Vice President for Development for the University of Alaska (UA). In this role, Megan provides leadership to the UA team in all aspects of development from annual giving to principal gifts. She oversees the UA Foundation development team including principal giving, planned giving, and donor research. Megan also leads the planning and implementation of the University of Alaska’s campaign.
In addition, Megan is a Certified Fund Raising Executive who is skilled in strategic fundraising and campaign planning, and in leading staff and volunteer boards toward breakthrough performance.
