A: myAR is Advancement Resources’ online learning platform, offering self-directed learning opportunities to drive meaningful philanthropy. Through e-Learning courses, print resources, and videos, participants can learn key concepts, strategies, and tactics that are immediately applicable to drive optimal performance in their work.

Q: Where can I download complimentary myAR print resources, like the Donor Development Chart?

A: By scrolling to the bottom right-hand side of your Dashboard or navigating to the “All Channels” page in your menu, you will access the “myAR Resources” collection, featuring essential AR tools.​

Q: How long will I have access to these materials?

A: You can access the print resources anytime using the instructions above. Learning plans are accessible for the duration of your subscription. See “Course expiration date” under your individual courses or contact your program administrator for more details.

Q: What is my catalog and how can I sign up for courses?

A: Independent, on-demand courses are now available for purchase using the “Catalog” option. Users will receive a one-year subscription when they sign up for a new course using the catalog feature.

Q: How do I sign up multiple participants for access to Learning Plans or online courses?

A: If you are looking to sign up a team, please work with your AR account manager to arrange access to the platform. If you do not have an account manager, you may request one by contacting us at

Q: Does this affect how I register for public workshops?

A: No, you can continue to use the public workshop registration feature on the Advancement Resources website. For your convenience, we have also linked to the Public Workshops page on the left-hand side of your dashboard, just below My Courses and Learning Plans. You may also access our website by clicking on “Upcoming Public Offerings” in your menu.

Q: How can I change my profile information?

A: Use the widget on the top right-hand side of your screen to change your personal information, password, or preferences. This can also be accessed in your menu by clicking on the pencil icon.

Q: Can I get CFRE credit for the completion of learning plans?

Q: Why do I see a “My Team” page instead of a Dashboard?

A: If you manage other users or teams, you may see a “My Team” page as a landing page instead of your dashboard. Use the menu on the left-hand side of the screen to navigate to other pages. For other information on the features for managers, please see additional help below the video player.

Q: How can I see my team members?

A: Managers can see team members by navigating to the “My Team” page in their menus.

Q: Can I assign tasks to my team members?

A: At this time, only the LMS (Learning Management System) administrators can assign tasks using the LMS. We recommend managers use their existing systems of internal communication to relay tasks to their teams.

Q: How can I see my team members’ activities?

A: From your “My Team” page, you can view each team member’s activities by clicking on the three dots on the bottom right-hand side of their name plate, then selecting “User Summary Report.”
